I created this body of work for my studio art capstone during my senior year at Wofford College. My creative process has produced multiple works of art that commonly portray the female figure. This series in particular explores the female identity as well as the characterization of sewing and needle-pointing as purely feminine craft. SHE is a combined exploration of self, stereotypes, memories, and experiences.
